Hey! thanks for stopping by!
This is going to be my production blog for my recreation of
Tony Sarts "kikimora" concept art.
Make sure to follow the original artist!
I started with the head shape.
I know its bad practice, but I love sculpting facial features.
This was my first time trying Marvelous designer.
surprisingly, I fell in love with it instantly!

However, I hated how this turned out.
The dress was way too flat and not like the reference.
I got the ribbons in there and she's got wayyy more dress folds.
I'm starting to really like how it's shaping out!

I just need to add some shoulder pads and some more jewelry baubles
I know I'm kind of working on this backwards but I wanted to try out more Marvelous designer while it's still present in my mind.
(I had a class on it a bit ago)
These are all polypainted (not Low poly yet)
We're retopoed 👍
HUZZAH!
I'm extremely happy with how this turned out.
now we're off to rigging and animating!
I'm working with Niagara in UE5 to add some more flair to this character.
I got her in Unreal, needs some major cleanup though.
This step was almost entirely unnecessary, but I wanted to make her breath a bit in her idle animation.
We've got dress controls baby!
Skinning this is a nightmare. Note to self in the future, you do not need to layer your dress if you aren't going to be seeing most of it.
This is close to the final render, I still need to set up lighting and whatnot. The scene itself is looking pretty fresh so far.
Thanks for stopping by and following me on this journey!
Remember to follow Tony Sart's original work, and have a creepy day!
